Paris Hilton for Mayor of Detroit!
If a presidential run seems far-fetched, how about Detroit Mayor?
Let's play a game. We'll list some adjectives, and you tell us the first celebrity/public figure that comes to mind. Let's begin:
1) Intelligent
2) Politically Active
3) Sexy
4) Rick Salomon
5) Hotel
Okay we gave it away. But, given the current situation in Detroit, we've started our search for the next Detroit Mayor. We can't think of anyone better than Paris Hilton. She gets people's attention, draws crowds, has an opinion on Energy, is appealing to young people and is nice to look at. Not to mention, it's a bright and sunny day. She is sitting pool side enoying a nice read, but thinking about none other than DETROIT! Now that's dedication.
Some people may think it's a coincidence that they say Detroit is the Paris of the midwest? We think not.
But even if Paris does not become the next Mayor of Detroit (drat!), she has a plan to turn the lights on at our factories. Learn how by watching the clip below!
P.S. This blog does not attempt to express happiness or sadness about the Mayor's current situation. We are not making statements about the good or bad he's done, or the money he has made or lost for the city. The next mayor may take the office sooner or later. But what we are saying is that whenever mayoral candidates are announced, we hope Paris Hilton is one of them.
